The Command and Data Handling Unit’s main objective is to control the satellite flight segment. It provides plentiful processing resources for the space mission software, communication interfaces with the AOCS, payload- and power subsystem, time synchronization and distribution functions as well as a safe-guard memory module.
Eu:CROPIS is a DLR satellite mission which will test the performance of a biological life support system under different gravitational conditions.
