About us
Quantum Galactics develops compact, cyber-resilient satellite systems for modern CubeSat and small satellite missions.
As a spin-off from the Chair of Space Technology at TU Berlin, we combine hands-on mission heritage with a strong focus on secure onboard computing, resilient satellite architectures and highly integrated spacecraft platforms.
We believe that satellite technology should be more than a component. It should be a trusted part of the mission: open instead of locked-in, reliable instead of short-lived, and flexible enough to support new ideas in orbit. Our name reflects our philosophy: bringing mission-critical capability into "quantum"-sized small spacecraft systems, with powerful, secure and scalable technologies even for the smallest satellites.
This philosophy is at the core of 1U4Everything, our powerful and cost-effective 1U CubeSat platform for scientific, educational and technology demonstration missions. It combines key spacecraft subsystems in a compact and scalable architecture, enabling customers to realize complete missions with reduced development effort, short integration timelines and a high degree of flexibility.
At the heart of our systems is the CyBER OBC, a flight-proven, PC/104-based onboard computer and payload data handling platform for advanced satellite missions. It enables Linux-based onboard processing, secure software execution and modern mission applications in orbit.
Together with partners from research and industry, we also contribute to RACCOON OS, an open-source, Linux-based satellite operating system focused on secure onboard software, update capability and cyber-resilient mission architectures.
Our product portfolio also includes redundant electrical power systems with up to 70 Wh energy capacity, compact VHF/UHF antenna systems, CubeSat structures, MGSE, integrated solar panels and mission-specific subsystem solutions.
Current and upcoming missions such as CyBEEsat, CISPAsat-1 and RACCOON-IOD demonstrate our technologies in orbit and reflect our mission: enabling secure, scalable and resilient small satellite systems made in Europe.
