About us
IQ spacecom, a business division of the German IQ Technologies for Earth and Space GmbH, comprises high-performance radio communication solutions providing flexible and highly efficient broadband data communication for small satellites. The equipment has been qualified for over 20 years of operation in low earth orbit and is used for scientific missions, Earth observation, remote sensing and communication solutions. Outstanding hardware and software platforms enable a fast, flexible and reliable adaptation to customer-specific requirements. Dedicated communication systems can be provided for instance for multi-access satellite solutions, inter satellite links or IoT applications.
The latest product is the XLink Software Defined Radio (SDR), a fully featured bidirectional transceiver platform that supports X-, S-, L-, and Ka-band communication links and forms the basis for various solutions such as the Go.BIC service.
IQ Technologies for Earth and Space GmbH was established over 25 years ago and currently consists of two innovative business divisions: IQ FireWatch and IQ spacecom. The technological innovations are researched, developed, manufactured, and tested by more than 50 employees at the company's headquarters in Berlin, Germany.

XLink is a fully featured bidirectional transceiver platform. It provides a high reliability through our extensive experience in utilizing cost-effective commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) components.
The flight-proven XLink supports X-, S-, L- and Ka-band communication links, making it an ideal choice for small satellites operating in LEO environment.

Global On-Demand Bidirectional Intersatellite Connection Service - Go.BIC is a highly flexible service that allows LEO operators to request L-Band capacity within Viasat's global GEO satellite network.
Our XLink-L provides reliable bidirectional communication links from the LEO satellite via Viasat‘s GEO satellite network and RBC Signal‘s GSaaS.
LEO operators can flexibly choose how often and when they require satellite connectivity.
